Cordelia L.Byrd Did domestic work

Services for Cordelia L. Byrd, who lived on Mohawk Avenue for many years, will be held at 10 a.m. today at the March Funeral Home, 4300 Wabash Ave.

Mrs. Byrd, who was 88, died of heart failure Sunday at Union Memorial Hospital.

She retired about 25 years ago after doing domestic work for many years.

The former Cordelia L. Bundy was a native of Kilmarnock, Va., who came to Baltimore as a young woman. Her husband, William George Byrd, was retired as a tavern owner when he died 37 years ago.

Mrs. Byrd was a member of the Fulton Baptist Church and the Provident Hospital Guild.

She is survived by a daughter, Marie Randall of Baltimore; a sister, Elenora Elliott of New York City; and three grandchildren.
