Break a leg

January 14, 1991

Stan Wojewodski, the artistic director of Center Stage who last week was named dean of the prestigious Yale School of Drama, has long been considered by local theater-goers the greatest director since Malinowsky and the best thing that ever happened to serious drama in Baltimore. During his 13-year tenure at Center Stage, he took what had been a good regional theater and turned it into one of the finest in the country.

Wojewodski leaves behind a legacy of excellence that will continue to inspire Baltimore theater-goers long after he takes his final curtain call at Center Stage.
