Mary E. Fogg

Mary E. Fogg, a retired secretary and longtime parish leader, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital after a short illness. She was 89.

A mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Fogg, a resident of the Stella Maris Hospice for the past three years, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, 5302 Harford Road.

Born and reared in Baltimore, the former Mary E. Aumen attended St. James School. She worked as a secretary in a dentist's office in Baltimore for 36 years, retiring about 30 years ago.

She married James L. Fogg, who worked for Koester's Bakery, in 1932. Mr. Fogg died in 1974.

Mrs. Fogg was president of St. Dominic's Parish Council for 16 years. She also served on the board of directors of the Ladies of Charity of the United States and was awarded the Cardinal Gibbons Medal for outstanding service to the church.

She is survived by two nephews, Tony Boyle of Lutherville and Marty Insley of Annapolis.
