Funeral services will take place for Glen Burnie resident Joseph Roger Carey Sr. at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Singleton Funeral Home.
Mr. Carey, 62, died Jan. 10 at home.
A county resident for 30 years, he was retired as a maintenance technician for Baltimore Association of Retarded Citizens.
Other interests included reading and family.
He is survived by his wife of44 years, Theresa A. Roth Carey; his mother, Rose A. Fear of Pasadena; three daughters, JoAnn Watson of Brooklyn Park, Betty Taylor of Greenville, S.C., and Brenda Martin of Glen Burnie; five brothers, Francis Ruzicka of Pasadena, Richard Ruzicka of Pasadena, Albert Ruzicka of Towson, Robert Carey of Baltimore and Tyron Carey of Baltimore; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
