A memorial service for A. Leedy Crouse, a retired farmer, was held yesterdayin Parkville.

Mr. Crouse, who was 93 and moved from Great Bend, Kan., to Abingdon in 1989, died Sunday at the Bel Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Forest Hill after suffering several strokes.

A native of Mayetta, Kan., he raised dairy cattle and pigs.

His wife, the former Neva Viola Brown, died in 1981.

Mr. Crouse is survived by a daughter, Donna Block of Abingdon; two sons, Melvin Crouse of Colwyn, Pa., and Morris Crouse of Albert, Kan.; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
