Services for Guy Miller Jr. of Millersville, a truck driver for Montgomery Ward, will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the Glen Burnie Baptist Church.

Mr. Miller, 61, died Jan. 7 of cancer at North Arundel Hospital.

Originally from Abingdon, Va., he worked for Montgomery Ward for over 18 years, winning a number of plaques for good driving.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 43 years, Etta Rush Miller; five daughters, Fran Mullineaux of Sarasota, Fla., Wanda Sullivan of Glen Burnie, Betty Mellon of Lansdowne, Pam Beane of Gambrills, and Therersa Stockhausen of Millersville; a son, Jim Miller of Glen Burnie; four brothers Sheirlan Pope and Henson Pope, both of Abingdon, Hobert Pope of Bristol, Va., and Harlen Pope of Dundalk; seven sisters, Ruth Manzer and Dartha Buchanan, both of Payette, Idaho, Bethel Hiller, May Bailey, Liller Woodby, Minnie Barnes and Bertha Meeks, all of Bristol, Va.; and 12 grandchildren.

MARY E. WILLIAMS HOMEMAKER, 92

Services for homemaker Mary E. Williams of Severn will take place at 12:30p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Williams, 92, died at home Jan. 7 after a lengthy illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, the late Harry F. Williams.

Survivors include three sons, Joseph E. Williams of Oxon Hill, Harry H. Williams of Glen Burnie, and Neile C. Williams of Severn;and five grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial contributions in her name be sent to North Arundel Hospital.
