Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Central District -- Joo Ok Kim, of the 7900 block of Covington Ave., reported he was walking across a parking lot in the 700 block of W. North Ave. yesterday when he was stopped by two men, one armed with a handgun, who forced him to give up the video movie tape he was carrying. Police said the movie, "Conan the Barbarian" was valued at $50.

THEFT: Central District -- Wanda Moore, of the 2900 block of Independence Ave., reported she was in the 300 block of W. Lexington St. yesterday when a man removed more than $150 worth of food stamps from her coat pocket.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Corinthia Wellington, of Nutmeg Knoll Court in Cockeysville, reported she was in the 1200 block of N. Calvert St. yesterday when she was attacked from the rear by a man who stole her purse. Police said the man escaped with cash and property, valued at several hundred dollars.

BURGLARY: Central District -- A resident of the 1700 block of Eutaw Place reported that someone broke into his apartment Tuesday evening by forcing the front door and removed stereo equipment valued at $1,000.

ROBBERY: Central District -- James Graham, an out-of-town resident, told police he was in the first block of South St. yesterday when he was attacked by a man who grabbed him around the neck and forced him to give up his money and valuables. Police said the man escaped with nearly $400 and property.

ASSAULT: Central District -- Sharon Lyles, of the 1000 block of Argyle Ave., told police that in her home yesterday she was attacked by a woman she knows. Lyles said the woman struck her with a frying pan, a bottle and then her fist. Police said Lyles was not seriously injured and that the woman escaped.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Police reported that Sean Mitchell, of the 1200 block of Madison Ave., was in the 1800 block of Eutaw Place yesterday when he was accosted by two men, one armed with a handgun, who forced him to give up his money and jacket. Police said the men escaped with cash and the jacket, valued at nearly $300.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Jabril Wilkes, of the 1300 block of Division St., reported he was robbed of nearly $120 in cash and food stamps by a man armed with a handgun who stopped him as he walked near his home yesterday.

THEFT: Central District -- Kevin Buttery, of the 600 block of Avalon Drive, reported that while his car was parked in the first block of S. Sharp St. someone broke into the vehicle and removed stereo equipment valued at $300. Police said entry was gained by breaking a window.

THEFT: Central District -- Police said someone entered the home of Towanda Morris, of the 700 block of W. Lanvale St., and removed clothing and other pieces of property. Police said the items were valued at nearly $300.

THEFT: Central District -- Lawrence Butler, an out-of-town resident, told police his car was parked in the 400 block of E. Saratoga St. yesterday when someone forced his way into the vehicle and removed a cellular car phone. Police said the telephone was valued at more than $300.

BURGLARY: Central District -- A resident of the 800 block of N. Eutaw St. reported that someone broke into his home and removed a wallet containing cash and credit cards from his night table. Police said the value of the property was not known.

THEFT: Central District -- Barry Cooper, of the 2200 block of Arden Road, reported that while his car was parked in the 300 block of St. Paul St. someone forced his way into the vehicle and removed a cashmere coat. Police said the coat was valued at $400.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Sammie Lee Lyles, of the 3000 block of Roslyn Ave., reported he was in the 400 block of W. Lexington St. yesterday when he was stopped by a man armed with a handgun who robbed him of cash and food stamps, valued at more than $100.

THEFT: Central District -- Police said someone cut the convertible top of a car owned by Kenneth Pilla, of the 300 block of Bradmore Road, while the vehicle was parked in the 1100 block of Park Ave. and removed cassette tapes, a tape carrying case and a pair of eyeglasses. Police said the property was valued at more than $500.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Heathfield Road reported that someone broke into her home by removing a basement window screen and storm door and stole computer and stereo equipment. Police said the property was valued at more than $300.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Marcella Kurtz, an out-of-town resident, reported her car was parked in the 4300 block of Harford Road yesterday when someone broke into the vehicle and stole a camera valued at $300. Police said entry was gained by forcing the door.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Employees of Johnny's used cars in the 4800 block of Harford Road reported that someone entered onto their lot and removed four tires and rims from three cars. Police said the equipment was valued at nearly $900.
