Funeral services will take place for Millersville resident Helen Minne Klutzkewitz at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at William Davis Funeral Home in Nanticoke, Pa.

Mrs. Klutzkewitz, 86, died of natural causes Jan. 7 at Deaton Medical Center in Baltimore.

A resident of Nanticoke, Pa., she moved to Millersville 17 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Nanticoke, Pa.

Other interests included crocheting, gardening and traveling.

Her husband of 43 years died before her.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita H. Kawczenski of Millersville; a son, Raymond Jakubowski of Nanticoke, Pa.; a sister, Augusta Romanaski of Binghton, N.Y.; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Local funeral arrangements were handled by Singleton Funeral Home.


Funeral services will takeplace for Millersville resident Vivian D. Chaney at 11 a.m. today atKirkley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chaney, 61, died of cardiac arrest Jan. 6 at University Hospital in Baltimore.

A lifetime county resident, she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Chaney was a member of Telephone Campers Club and was an active as a member and Sunday school teacher for Pasadena United Methodist Church. She was also active in Boy Scout Troop 346.

Other interests included camping, Scouting and travel.

She is survived by her husband Harry A. Chaney; three sons, David R.White of Laurel, Gregory A. Chaney and Mark F. Chaney, both of Glen Burnie; a daughter, Brenda L. Baumann of Glen Burnie; a brother, Larry White of Rhode Island; and two grandchildren.

Memorial donationsmay be made to Johns Hopkins Children's Center.


Funeral services will take place for Severna Park resident Ruth Virginia Lancaster at 11 a.m. today at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park.

Mrs. Lancaster, 77, died Jan.6 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

A resident of Severna Park for 36 years, she worked as a secretary and comptroller for Peterson, Howe and Heather Fleet Leasing for 25 years. She also taught nursery school at Walbrook Memorial Evangelical Church in Baltimore.

Mrs. Lancaster was a member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, Kiwanis Club Wives and the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Chi Sigma Sorority.

Other interests included sewing.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edgar D. Lancaster Sr.; a daughter, Eleanor Joyce Lancaster Anderson of Severna Park; a son, Edgar Dale Lancaster Jr. of Linthicum; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
