Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police reported two men, one armed with a shotgun and the other a handgun, entered Ollie Beck's crab house in the 4200 block of Sanner Ave. and forced an employee to give them money from a secured area. Police said the armed men escaped with more than $100 in the 7 p.m. Sunday robbery.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of W. Fayette St. reported that someone broke into his second-floor apartment and removed stereo equipment valued at nearly $2,000.

THEFT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police responding to a shoplifting at the K mart store in the 5100 block of Sinclair Lane arrested a man who attempted to leave the store without paying for cassette tapes valued at nearly $25. Police said the man was being held at the Eastern District lockup pending theft charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- Police reported that Ralph Roane, of the 2600 block of E. Biddle St., was in the 4800 block of Lorelly Ave. when he was stopped by two men, one armed with a handgun, who demanded his money. Police said that when Roane made an attempt to grab the gun, the weapon discharged and struck him in the hand. Police said the gunman and his accomplice fled without robbing the injured Roane, who was taken to a hospital for treatment.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Robyn Grafton, of the 5000 block of Denview Way, reported a woman she knows stole a money order made out for nearly $300 after requesting permission to use her telephone. Police said Grafton discovered the money order was missing when the woman left her home. Police said Grafton was advised to seek a warrant for the woman's arrest.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Marie Barrett, of the 1300 block of Meridene Road, reported she was walking near her home when a man approached from the rear and stole her purse. Police said the purse contained cash and property valued at nearly $175.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Dorothy Steedley, of the 1700 block of Waverly Way, reported she was robbed of her purse containing cash and property valued at nearly $100 by a man who approached her from the rear as she walked near her home.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Caroline Watchman, of the 6100 block of Loch Raven Blvd., reported she was standing in the lobby of her apartment building when she was approached by a man who attempted to steal her purse. Police said when Watchman pulled away from the man he threatened her and then grabbed the purse and fled. Police said the purse contained a small sum of cash and personal items.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police arrested two male juveniles who attempted to leave the Ames department store in the 2400 block of Belair Road without paying for a shirt valued at $17. After theft charges, the two youths were released into the custody of their parents pending action by juvenile authorities.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Charles Lawyer, of the 3200 block of Wade Ave., reported he was in the 2300 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway yesterday when he was accosted by a man armed with a handgun. Police said the gunman escaped with $80.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Employees of Koon's Ford in the 5900 block of Belair Road reported that someone broke into one of their new cars and removed a detachable plastic rear window and floor mats. Police said the equipment was valued at nearly $300.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking two men who forced their way into a dwelling in the 4100 block of Westview Ave. around noon yesterday and robbed the occupants of nearly $250. Police said when Kathryn O'Brien opened her front door around 11 a.m. she was confronted by two men who pushed her back inside the house. There, the men demanded money and threatened O'Brien and another occupant, Edgar Carr. Police said the men fled the house a few minutes later after robbing O'Brien of $200 and taking $40 from Carr. Police said neither man displayed a weapon during the robbery.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police said three men, at least one of them armed with a shotgun, entered the Rite-Aid pharmacy in the 2400 block of E. Cold Spring Lane around 2 p.m yesterday and removed an undisclosed sum of money from at least one cash register after forcing several employees and customers onto the floor.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Employees of the Radio Shack in the 5000 block of Sinclair Lane told police that two men, one armed with a handgun, entered their store at 3 p.m. yesterday and ordered them to give them money from the cash register. Police said the gunman and his accomplice fled with more than $100.
