January 06, 1991

County Executive Eileen M. Rehrmann announced the appointment of three department chiefs Thursday.

* Harford's new economic development director is BelAir resident Patricia A. Perluke, 46, the former director of marketing for Laventhol & Horwath. Perluke worked in the Philadelphia-based

accounting firm's Baltimore office.

* John O'Neill Jr., of Monkton, has been named director of the Department of Procurement. O'Neill,44, has served as the deputy secretary of the state Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.

* Randall Schultz, a Bel Air resident, has been designated as Harford's new personnel director.Schultz, 41, has been director of human resources for Mars Supermarkets since 1979.

FOR THE RECORD - An article in the Jan. 6 edition of The Harford County Sun incorrectly reported the length of time that Randall Schultz, Harford County government's new acting personnel director, was director of human resources for Mars Supermarkets. Schultz had worked for Mars Supermarketsfrom 1989 until he was appointed to the county post two weeks ago.
Prior to joining Mars, Schultz was director of human resources for the Arundel Corp. From 1970 to 1981, Schultz was employed by Pantry Pride supermarkets.
The Harford County Sun regrets the errors.
