College Will Teach Adults Three R's

Harford Community College conducts Adult Basic Education

classes forout-of-school adults who are interested in improving basic and life skills in writing, reading and math.

Also offered are classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages for foreign-born adults interested in improving English communication skills.

Volunteers are needed to assist instructors in ABE andESOL classes one or two evenings a week at various centers throughout Harford County. A limited number of day classes also are available.Volunteers are especially needed in the Aberdeen area.

An orientation session will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Harford Community College.
