THEFT/ARREST: Central District -- Police arrested a man and were holding him at the station in connection with the theft of property valued at nearly $400 from a 1988 Toyota owned by Lawrence Isaac, of the 5400 block of Narcissus Ave., while the vehicle was parked in the 200 block of Park Ave.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police reported two men walking in the 3800 block of Lyndale Ave. Wednesday were accosted by two men, one armed with a handgun, who demanded they give up their coats and jewelry. Police said Charles Roberts, of the 3800 block of Elmley Ave., and David Eckert, of the 3800 block of Lyndale Ave., were robbed of clothing and jewelry having a total value of several hundred dollars.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Verna Bias, of the 6600 block of Snowberry Court, reported that a man she knows entered her house yesterday and removed four coats and a mink cape from one of her closets. Police said the apparel was valued at more than $1,700 and that Bias was advised to seek a warrant for the man's arrest.

THEFT: Central District -- Bernard Roche, of the 11000 block of Reisterstown Road in Baltimore County, reported that while his 1989 Honda was parked in the 100 block of W. Mount Royal Ave. yesterday, someone broke into the vehicle and removed a radio valued at $100.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Brenda O'Carroll, of the 2600 block of Madison Ave., told police she was in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. yesterday when she was stopped by two men, one armed with a handgun, who forced her to give up her money. Police said the gunman and his accomplice fled the scene with more than $200 in cash.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Bernard German, of the 3600 block of E. Northern Parkway, reported that someone entered his property and removed two bikes from his back yard. Police said the bikes had a combined value of more than $300.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Julius Oluwajana, of the 6000 block of Amberwood Road, reported that someone entered his car earlier this month while the vehicle was parked near his home and removed several blank checks from the glove compartment. Later, the person who stole the checks made one out for $60 and cashed it after forging Oluwajana's name.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Woodrow Bather, of the 1900 block Herbert St., reported he was walking in the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Ave. yesterday when he was approached from behind by a man who stole his carrying bag containing property valued at more than $100.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Joseph Shields, of the 2300 block of Barclay St., told police he was in the restroom of the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in the 1800 block of N. Calvert St. and was washing his hands when two men entered and demanded his money. Police said the men fled the restaurant with Shields' wallet containing cash and property, all valued at about $100.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Nakai Hollman, of the 900 block of Pennsylvania Ave., told police she was in the 500 block of W. Lexington St. yesterday when she was stopped by three men, one armed with a handgun, who ordered her to give up her money. Police said the gunman and his two accomplices fled with $50 in cash.

THEFT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police responding to the Ames department store in the 2500 block of Belair Road yesterday arrested a 26-year-old man who attempted to leave the store without paying for 36 pairs of women's gloves, valued at nearly $400. Police said the man was detained by a store security officer pending the arrival of uniformed district officers. Police said the man was being held at the Eastern District lockup pending theft charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Irwin Seibert, of the 3200 block of Shannon Drive, reported he was walking near his home yesterday when he was stopped by two men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed him of property valued at nearly $140.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police today were seeking two men who accosted Benita Cheatham, of the 1400 block of Weyburn Ave., as she walked in the 6000 block of Moravia Park Drive yesterday and robbed her of cash and property, all valued at more than $400. One of the men placed a hard object in her back.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Rodney Hartley, of the 1200 block of Kitmore Road, told police he was near his home shortly before 9 p.m. yesterday when he was stopped by a man armed with a handgun who forced him to give up his coat, wallet and keys. Police said the gunman fled with property valued at more than $350.

THEFT: Central District -- Police reported that someone broke into a 1987 Mercedes-Benz owned by William Murphy, of the 1000 block of N. Calvert St., while it was parked near his home and removed a cellular car phone valued at $400.
