Police Find 80 Grams Of Crack Cocaine

County police seized $8,000 worth of crack cocaine during a traffic stop in Pioneer City on Sunday.

Four people were arrested about 8 p.m., after officers stopped a blue 1989 Pontiac Grand Am in the 1700 block of Richfield Drive.

Officers searched the car and found 80 grams of crack, the police said.

Jerry Jerome Barton, 19; Clarence Milton Barton, 33; Jeremiah Wannamaker, 18; and Ronald Lerussell Turner, 18, all of the 4400 block G Street in Washington, were charged with transporting drugs into the state, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and conspiracy.

County police have charged three people with possession with intent to distribute PCP after a traffic stop in Glen Burnie on Wednesday.

Jeffrey Scott Mannone, 29, of the 1700 block Arlington Avenue in Relay, the driver of the car, was also charged with driving while intoxicated.

Passengers William Dalton Jones Jr., 19, of the 3000 block Louisiana Avenue in Baltimore and Eric Von Triplett, 20, of the 500 block Patuxent Road in Odenton were also arrested.

Police said officers stopped the weaving car on Hammonds Ferry Road about 1:09 p.m. and found the driver had been drinking.

The officers noticed the smell of PCP and founda glass jar of the drug under the seat, police said.

PASADENA WOMAN RAPED IN HER HOME

County police have charged a Pasadena man with rape after investigators said he terrorized a Millersville woman in her home Sunday.

Warren Lee Yates, 26, of the 200 block Meadow Road, was also charged with assault with intent to murder.

The police said Yates was in the woman's home in the 500 block of Jan Road at about 2:45 a.m., when be began brandishing a butcher knife and threatening to kill her.

Police said the woman was raped before she could escape and call police.

As police arrived, Yates jumped from a second-story window, but was caught by officers.

2 MEN WITH A GUN ROB DASH-IN STORE

Two masked men robbed the Dash-In convenience storein Severn on Saturday.

The police said the pair walked into the store in the 7800 block of Quarterfield Road at 8 p.m. and demanded money.

One of the robbers held a gun to the clerk's head and the other went around the counter and took the money.

Both robbers were wearing black knit caps with eyeholes cut in them.

LAUREL MAN MUGGED AT HESS GAS STATION

A Laurel man was robbed outside an Odenton gas station Sunday, county police reported.

The police said the 29-year-old man was standing outside the Hess gas station at the intersection of Route 175 and Mapes Road about 10 p.m. when the robber threatened him with a bottle.

The man gave him $35, and the robber drove away in a red Chevrolet Berretta with Virginia license plates.

The police described the robber as a white male about 6 feet tall, wearing blue jeans and a black Chicago Bulls jacket with red lettering.

POLICE SEEK MUGGER OF FORT MEADE LADY

Police are looking for the man who robbed a Fort Meade woman in a parking lot outside a Hanover store.

The police said the woman was in the parking lot of the Jamesway store on Route 175 at 6:30 p.m. when a man walked up to her and demanded money.

After the woman gave him her money, he ran away.

Police described the assailant as a black male about 5 foot 5 in his late teens.
