Clemson outlook: The Tigers have the No. 1 defense in the country, giving up only 216.9 yards per game. Clemson gives up only 71.7 yards rushing and 145.2 yards passing. On the offensive side, QB DeChane Cameron has completed 84 of 175 passes for 1,044 yards and five touchdowns. Leading the Tigers' ground attack is Ronald Williams with 914 yards on 164 carries and 5.6 yards per carry and 91.4 yards per game. K Chris Gardocki leads the Tigers' special teams with a 44.34 punting average and has made 19 of 24 field goals.

Illinois outlook: QB Jason Verduzco runs the offense, completing 213 of 330 for 2,446 yards and 16 touchdowns. WR Shawn Wax leads Illinois with 54 receptions for 786 yards and a 14.6 yards per catch. FB Howard Griffith rushed for 1,056 yards on 186 carries for 5.7 yards per carry and 96.0 yards per game.
