Paul J. Fineman

Paul J. Fineman, a business consultant and former president of Holtite Manufacturing Co., died yesterday after a long illness. He was 82.

Services for Mr. Fineman were being held today at the Sol Levinson funeral establishment, 6010 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville.

Between 1937 and 1967, Mr. Fineman worked for Holtite, the parent of Cat's Paw Rubber Co. He served as vice president and sales manager, secretary-treasurer and president of the company.

In 1978, the Baltimore native became an independent business consultant specializing in corporate mergers and acquisitions. He remained active until his death.

Mr. Fineman was active in the Jewish community, working on the annual campaigns of The Associated: the Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, and serving on the board of the group's Mount Pleasant and Levindale agencies.

Mr. Fineman was a member of Chizuk Amuno Congregation.

He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Eisen; two children, Suzanne F. Cohen of Pikesville and Howard Eisen Fineman of Boston; and four grandchildren.
