Oregon (8-3) vs. Colorado State (8-4) What: Freedom Bowl, matching Pacific-10 Oregon vs. Big Eight Colorado State

Where: Anaheim, Calif.

When: 8 tonight

TV: Channels 45, 8

Oregon outlook: All Pac-10 QB Bill Musgrave may be the best player in the game. He passed for 2,219 yards and 14 TDs this season. His favorite targets are WR Michael McClellan and WR Joe Reitzug. Redshirt freshman TB Sean Burwell, who led the Ducks with 949 yards rushing, was sidelined early in Oregon's win over Oregon State with a slight crack in his lowest vertebra. He returned to full practice a week ago today.

Colorado State outlook: Coach Earle Bruce joins Notre Dame's Lou Holtz and Indiana's Bill Mallory as the only active coaches to take four schools (Tampa, Iowa State and Ohio State are the others) to bowls. The Rams are led by TB Brian Copeland (896 yards), TB Tony Alford (647) and FB Todd Yert (589). Yert (3.5 yards per carry) has fumbled only once in 491 career carries.
