Dr. William A. Renzi Professor of history

Dr. William A. Renzi, a native of Baltimore and an associate professor of history at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, collapsed and died at his Milwaukee home Dec. 5. He was 49.

A specialist in diplomatic and military history, he had taught at the Milwaukee school since 1969.

He earned his doctorate at the University of Maryland in College Park after graduating from Washington College in Chestertown.

His survivors include his mother, Olga Renzi of Pikesville, and a sister, Judy Brown of Hummelstown, Pa.

Services for Dr. Renzi were held Dec. 8 in Milwaukee.
