RAYMOND T. SHIELDS RIGGER, 69 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Glen Burnie resident Raymond T. Shields at 9 a.m. today at Holy Trinity Church.
Mr. Shields, 69, died of heart failure on Dec. 17 at North Arundel Hospital.
A lifetime county resident, he worked as a rigger for Maryland Dry Dock.
He also served with the merchant marine during World War II.
Other interests included sports, collecting hats and family activities.
His wife, Joan G. Shields, died before him.
He is survived by three stepdaughters, Frances Gray of Glen Burnie, Joan Hambree of Gambrills and Carol Beatty of Glen Burnie; two stepsons, Ted McGill and Raymond T. McGill, both of California; 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were made by Kirkley Funeral Home.
RICHARD RIEMAN SR. MANAGER, 61 Prayers will be said for former Baltimore resident Richard Paul Rieman Sr. on Friday, Dec. 21, at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
Mr. Rieman, 61, died of lung cancer on Dec. 19 at his home.
A resident of Berlin, Worcester County, for the past five years, he was a former resident of Baltimore. He worked for Wallace H. Campbell Co., Henderson Webb Inc., and Nicoll and Associates as an apartment manager. Mr.
Rieman also served with the U.S. Navy and Marines during the Korean War.
He was a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Rieman is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dorothy Mae Rehr Rieman; a son, Richard P. Rieman Jr. of Pasadena; a daughter, Connie M. Mosner of Lutherville; two brothers, Frederick Rieman Jr. of Randallstown and John Rieman of Baltimore; and four grandchildren.
