Two men, one armed with a gun, robbed the Sprint Food Mart in Glen Burnie Saturday.

Police said the robbers entered the store in the 100 block of Crain Highway at about 7 p.m. and brought several items to the cash register.

When the clerk rang the items up and opened the cash drawer, one of the men reached inside and took all the money. The second robber went behind the counter and tried unsuccessfully to open the safe.

The two robbers then left the store.

Police said both men were black and in their 20s. Both were wearing dark clothing and one also wore a baseball cap.

CROFTON MAN SHOT WITH A PELLET RIFLE A 19-year-old Crofton man was shot with a pellet rifle early Monday morning.

David Christian Miller, of the 2100 block of Sandy Court, was shot in the upper body at about 2:18 a.m.

Miller was treated and released from Prince George's Hospital Center, police said.

Joseph Allen Panholzer, 19, of the 2200 block of Fendall Court in Crofton, was charged with battery and reckless endangerment.

Police gave no motive for the shooting.

SHOT FIRED AT DRIVER IN SEVERN PARKING LOT County police are looking for the men who shot at a Severn man's truck in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store last week.

The police said the victim was in the parking lot of the store on Ridge Road and Route 175 at about 9 p.m. when another car with four or five men in it pulled up.

One of the men opened the passenger side door of the victim's truck and said: "What are you going to do about it?"

The crowd of men gathered around the truck and the victim tried to leave.

As he was backing out, he heard a gunshot and saw his passenger side window shatter.

No descriptions of the men were given.

800 block of Oakwood Road: Dec. 13, entry gained through the door. Bicycle taken. Total loss: $600.

Linthicum: 6200 block of Chestnut Oak Lane: Dec. 12, entry gained through the window.

Unknown property taken.
