MAN WITH GUN ROBS A PASADENA EATERY
A man with a gun robbed the Little Caesar's restaurant in Pasadena Saturday.
County police said an employee was taking trash out the back door of the restaurant, in the 8000 block of Edwin Raynor Boulevard, about 1:58 a.m.
when the robber walked up to him, revealed a gun and told him to return inside.
Once inside, the robber forced all employees to lie on the floor. He took a bag of money and left.
The police described the robber as a black man about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, wearing a dark ski mask. He was also wearing a black coat and dark pants.
MARIJUANA IS FOUND AT GAMBRILLS HOME County police confiscated three pounds of marijuana after serving a warrant on a Gambrills home Friday.
Sharon Jean Cundiff, 45, of the 700 block Route 3, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Police also seized $700.
Police searched Cundiff's home after they received information that marijuana was being distributed from the home.
ROBBERY ATTEMPTED AT GLEN BURNIE MALL County police are looking for a man who tried to rob the Revco Drug store in Glen Burnie Mall Friday.
The police said a clerk was in the office of the store on Ritchie Highway about 10 p.m. when a man barged in, brandished a knife and demanded money. The clerk opened the safe and pulled out a bank bag of money. When the robber tried to gag the woman with a red bandanna, the clerk struggled.
The robber dropped the knife and the bag and ran from the office.
Police described the robber as a black man, wearing white sweat pants and a black coat.
MUGGER TAKES $57 AT SEARS PARKING LOT A Severna Park man was robbed Friday in the parking lot of Sears in Glen Burnie.
The police said the man was walking to his car, parked on the lot on Ritchie Highway, about 6:30 p.m. when the mugger walked up and demanded money.
A fight started and the mugger hit the man on the head before taking about $57.
Police described the robber as a black male in his 30s wearing dark pants and coat.
SEVERNA PARK MAN HIT BY CAR AND KILLED A Severna Park man was killed Friday after he was hit by a car on Benfield Boulevard.
Robert Howard Turner, 55, of the unit block Emerson Road, was pronounced dead at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
The police said Turner was directing traffic around glass that had been left in the road from an earlier accident, when he was hit by a woman driving a Toyota van about 7 p.m. The woman told police she did not see Turner until she hit him.
POLICE SEEK ROBBER OF GLEN BURNIE BANK County police are looking for a man who robbed the Chevy Chase Bank in Glen Burnie Friday.
The police said the robber handed the teller in the bank in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway a deposit slip demanding money.
The teller gave the robber, who said he had a gun, the money.
The robber was last seen running toward the back of Southdale Plaza. No description of the man was given.
