* Navy Ensign Sean D. Konzal, son of Dennis T. and Sandra L. Konzal of Hampstead, recently reported for duty with Training Squadron-Two, Naval Air Station Whiting Field, Milton, Fla.

A 1990 graduate of Penn State University, University Park, Pa., with a bachelor of science degree, he joined the Navy in May.

* Navy Seaman Recruit Eric S. Eichler has completed training at Recruit Training Command, Great rLakes, Ill.

During his eight-week training cycle, Eichler's studies included seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid. Personnel who complete this course are eligible for three hours of college credit in Physical Education and Hygiene.

He is the son of John A. Eichler of Millers. A 1990 graduate of Owings Mills High School, Baltimore County, he joined the Navy in August.

* Navy Seaman Recruit Aaron S. Bennett, son of Steven J. and Dorthea L.

Bennett of Mount Airy, has completed recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

During his eight-week training cycle, he studied general military subjects designed to prepare him for further academic and on-the-job training in one of the Navy's 85 basic fields.

His studies included seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid.

Personnel who complete this course of instruction are eligible for three hours of college credit in physical education and hygiene.

A 1988 graduate of Linganore High School, Frederick County, Bennett joined the Navy in August 1990.

* Marine Sgt. Torrance E. Thomas recently completed the Marine Aviation Supply Senior Enlisted Course.

During the six-week course, conducted at Marine Aviation Training Support Group, Naval Technical Training Center, Naval Air Station, Meridian, Miss., he was provided with management level training on the shipboard uniform automated data processing system.

He also received training on various management reports procedures utilized to monitor funds allocated to different accounts of material through the Navy supply system.

Thomas is the son of Ernest R. and Betty J. Thomas of Mount Airy. A 1978 graduate of South Carroll High School, he joined the Marine Corps in October 1979.

* Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Gregory A. Harrison, son of Edwina L. Harrison of Union Bridge, recently reported for duty at Fleet Training Center, San Diego, Calif.

A 1980 graduate of Linganore High School, Frederick County, Harrison joined the Navy in August 1983.
