UMES defeats Salisbury, 92-55

PRINCESS ANNE -- Junior Angela Fowler led all scorers with 26 points, as the University of Maryland Eastern Shore defeated Salisbury State, 92-55, last night.

The Hawks (4-3), who held a 21-point lead at halftime and outscored Salisbury, 50-34, in the second half, shot 51 percent from the field and 68 percent from the free-throw line.

The Gulls (4-5), who were paced by Jeannie Daly's 15 points, shot 27 percent from the field and only 57 percent from the line.
