John F. Neutze Jr.

John F. Neutze Jr., 48, vice president of an electric-motor company and an official at college lacrosse games for more than 20 years, died Tuesday of heart disease at his home on Clearspring Road in Govans.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Mitchell-Wiedefeld funeral establishment, 6500 York Road.

Mr. Neutze was a vice president of the William C. O'Brien Co. in Baltimore, where he had worked for more than 15 years. Earlier, he worked for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.

Survivors include his mother, Thelma Harden Neutze of Arnold; two brothers, C. Roger Neutze of Arnold and William C. Neutze of Reisterstown; a sister, Charlotte Anne Griffin of Stevensville; a friend, Katie Langton of Baltimore; and two nephews and two nieces.

The family suggested contributions to Shriner Hospitals for Crippled Children, through Boumi Temple.
