MAN ROBBED OUTSIDE TAVERN IN SEVERN

A Severna Park man was robbed Wednesday outside a Severn bar, county police said.

The man told officers he was leaving My Place bar in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road at about 10:30 p.m. when the robber walked up to him and asked him if he wanted any "dope." The man said he did not and the two struggled. The robber took $100 from the man.

The police described the robber as a black male, 5-foot-8, wearing jeans and a dark-colored coat.

DRUG POSSESSION CHARGED TO PAIR

County police have charged two Edgewater men with possession of narcotics after a traffic stop Tuesday.

The police said an officer on patrol on Route 214 in Edgewater saw a truck weaving at about 11 p.m. The officer said he stopped the truck and found two partially smoked marijuana cigarettes and a pipe.

Andrew Leland Alton, 26, of the 600 block Londontown Road, and Todd Michael Muse, of the 400 block Londontown Road, were charged with possession of marijuana.
