Lloyd H. Weidemeyer

Lloyd H. Weidemeyer, 81, a retired real estate developer in Florida who once owned car dealerships in western Baltimore County, died Monday of heart and respiratory failure at a hospital in Clearwater, Florida.

Funeral services were being held today at the Moss-Feaster funeral establishment in Clearwater.

Mr. Weidemeyer, who moved to Clearwater in 1954, retired about 15 years ago after developing properties in the Clearwater area and on the West Coast of Florida.

Before moving to Florida, he owned DeSoto-Plymouth dealerships in Hebbville and Woodlawn and used-car businesses elsewhere in western Baltimore County.

A native of Hebbville, he was a 1926 graduate of the Catonsville High School. He earned a law degree at the University of Baltimore.

He was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Largo, Florida.

His wife, the former Catherine Greninger, died in 1986.

Survivors include a son, Carleton L. Weidemeyer of Clearwater; two daughters, Kay Dahlstrom of Clearwater and Dottie Kubricht of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, M. Dorotha Disharoon of Clearwater; two brothers, E. Dudley Weidemeyer of Clearwater and John Homer Weidemeyer of New Port Richey, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
