A memorial service for Theodora Fenton Brooks, retired assistant director of admissions at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, will be held at 11:15 a.m. today at the Memorial Episcopal Church, Bolton Street and Lafayette Avenue.

Miss Brooks, who was 80 and lived on Reservoir Street, died Monday of heart failure at the Meridian Nursing Center-Long Green.

She retired about 15 years ago after working at the hospital for about 40 years.

Born in Baltimore, she graduated from the Bryn Mawr School and Goucher College.

After retiring she became head of the Meals on Wheels volunteer workers at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church.

She also headed the early service Altar Guild at the Memorial Episcopal Church and was a member of the Maryland Historical Society and the Indian Landing Club.

She is survived by several cousins. The family suggested contributions to Memorial Episcopal Church.
