James L. Finneran II, 49, an engineering operations manager for the Westinghouse Electric Corp., died Friday at Johns Hopkins Hospital of a viral circulatory infection.
A Catholic burial service is to be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Ruck funeral establishment, 5305 Harford Road. Burial will be private.
Mr. Finneran, of Bel Air, worked at the Hunt Valley facility during his nearly 25 years with Westinghouse. He was active in the charity campaigns there, heading the United Way Drive and serving as chairman for the Ed Block Courage Awards Dinner for the benefit of St. Vincent's Center. He also did volunteer work for the Maryland League for the Handicapped. Before he moved to Bel Air 15 years ago, he had served in Baltimore as an adult leader of the Boy Scouts and as a coach in youth baseball and football programs.
