Ruth K. Christhilf Insurance analyst

A memorial service for Ruth K. Christhilf, a retired insurance company analyst, will be held at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Barranco and Sons Funeral Home, Ritchie Highway and Robinson Road in Severna park.

Mrs. Christhilf, who was 76 and lived on Red Oak Drive in Severna Park, died Saturday of cancer at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.

She retired about seven years ago from the policy writing department of Nationwide Insurance Co. in Annapolis, where she worked for about 24 years.

The former Ruth Kolb, she was born in Baltimore and was educated at the Friends School and the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

Her husband, John F. Christhilf, is a retired civil engineer.

In addition, her survivors include a daughter, Margaret Ruth Hicks of Arnold; a son, Robert B. Coppersmith of Severna Park; and a granddaughter.
