Services for Norman L. Bayrle, a Baltimore native who worked for many years for a California chemical company, will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the chapel of the Memorial Oaks Cemetery Mausoleum in Houston.
Mr. Bayrle, who was 83, died yesterday at a hospital in Houston after a short illness.
He retired in 1969 from the C. F. Braun Co. in Alhambra, Calif., where he had worked as an engineer since moving to California in the early 1940s.
He attended the Johns Hopkins University.
His wife, the former Hazel Estelle Sanders, died in 1982.
He is survived by two daughters, Nona Gilbert of Houston and Ruth Chilcutt of Burleson, Texas; three sisters, Ruth Hartman, Dorothy Hoffmeister and Edith McGlone, all of Baltimore; and a brother, Richard E. Bayrle of Baltimore.
