CURRENT volunteers' news and needs:

Baltimore City Commission on Aging's Life Enrichment Volunteer Program wants volunteers to help improve the quality of life for residents of the community. After a short training period, volunteers will be matched with residents who have similar interests. Call 396-1762.

Maryland Associates for Dyslexic Adults and Youth (MADAY) wants volunteers to be trained as reading tutors for those with dyslexia and other language learning disorders. Call 889-5487.

Citizens Against Spousal Assault (CASA) of Howard County wants volunteers to answer the helpline, work in the main office and provide child care. 997-0304.

St. Agnes Hospital wants men and women as volunteers for assignments in several areas of the hospital. Details: 368-2815.

Baltimore City Life Museums offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities for those interested in theater, marketing, fund-raising, collections management, tour guides and archaeology. Details: 396-3523.
