C. Telfair Leimbach Jr., 84, retired director of career guidance and employment at the University of Baltimore, died Friday at Union Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Services were being held today at the Second Presbyterian Church, 4200 St. Paul St.
Born in Catonsville, Mr. Leimbach was a 1924 graduate of Catonsville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1934 and a master's degree there in 1973.
Mr. Leimbach formerly worked as a public relations representative for Western Electric Co., sales promotion manager for Lincoln Sales, and as a self-employed business development counselor. He taught advertising and public relations courses at the University of Baltimore, and from 1968 until his retirement in 1979 was director of career guidance and employment.
