New projects

Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695): Periodic interruptions to traffic in both directions between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. today at Old Court Road for utility work.

Interstate 95 (southwest Baltimore County): Two southbound lanes closed 6 a.m.-1 p.m. today for bridge repair.

Interstate 395 (downtown Baltimore): Tomorrow, at 10 a.m., the access ramp from northbound I-395 to Russell Street via Lee Street will close for realignment to improve access to the Camden Yards stadium.

Route 5 (St. Mary's County): Work has begun on construction of 1.3-mile Leonardtown Bypass between Route 245 and St. Andrews Church Road.

Toll facilities

Baltimore Harbor Tunnel: 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, two-way traffic in one tube for routine maintenance.

Bay Bridge (U.S. 50/301): Toll plaza under reconstruction, two lanes closed. Single-lane closures for paving from Sandy Point to Stevensville.

Key Bridge (I-695): All week, dawn to dusk, one lane closed in each direction.

I-95: Possible lane closings on Susquehanna bridge. Periodic lane closures elsewhere in Baltimore/Harford counties. Off-peak closings between Beltway and White Marsh Boulevard for median construction. In Howard County, two-lane closures northbound 8 p.m.-5 a.m., Monday through Friday, for repaving. Exit ramp from northbound I-95 to Washington Boulevard closed.

Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (U.S. 40): Construction continues on toll plaza; one lane closed in each direction on bridge.


Northeast side: Delays and single-lane closures, Belair Road to Perring Parkway, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Anne Arundel County

U.S. 50/301: Westbound U.S. 50/301 relocated to right. Ramp to southbound Route 2 exits from left lane. Ridgely Avenue bridge over U.S. 50/301 closed. Interchanges with Patuxent Boulevard (Route 665) and Interstate 97 complete; all ramps open.

Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Route 295): Work is under way on diamond interchange at parkway and Routes 100/176. Single lane closures along northbound and southbound Route 295, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Route 3: Construction between Beltway and Route 32 (highway is being upgraded to interstate). Benfield Boulevard interchange relocated.

Route 10: Construction on southern extension near Jumpers Hole Road and Ritchie Highway, which is nearing completion.


Hanover Street Bridge (Route 2, Baltimore): Rehabilitation work has begun and will take approximately 18 months. Bridge will remain open, but there will be lane reductions in both directions.

Baltimore Street between Calvert and Gay streets: lane restrictions daily, particularly during non-peak hours, for subway construction.

Mulberry Street (U.S. 40, downtown Baltimore): Closed between Howard and St. Paul Place.

Cold Spring Lane bridge over Stony Run: Bridge replacement has begun. Cold Spring Lane now closed to westbound traffic at Charles Street.Baltimore County

Fairmount Avenue: closed to westbound traffic from Joppa Road to York Road.

Paper Mill Road (Baltimore County): Repairs to bridge over Loch Raven Reservoir continue. Cecil County

Route 7: Bridge work over Amtrak near Bacon Hill, south of Elkton.
