Services for Christopher D. Blimline, a sophomore at the Perry Hall Senior High School and a sports fan, will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Road.

Chris -- as he preferred to be called -- died Tuesday at Sinai Hospital of complications to surgery related to muscular dystrophy. He was 16 and lived on Ballygar Road in Perry Hall.

The Baltimore native, who had used a wheelchair since he was 7, attended the Pine Grove Middle School and the Chapel Hill Elementary School.

He frequently attended Orioles games and those of the farm teams in Frederick and Hagerstown and collected baseball memorabilia.

He often went to games or participated in other activities with a friend, Kevin Copenspire of Phoenix.

Chris is survived by his parents, Dennis and Mary Ann Blimline of Perry Hall, and his grandparents, George and Bernette Blimline and George and Mary Gutermuth, all of Baltimore.
