* Milwaukee Brewers -- Agreed to terms with Teddy Higuera (pitcher) on a four-year contract. Signed Franklin Stubbs (infielder-outfielder) to a three-year contract.

* Toronto Blue Jays -- Signed Pat Tabler (designated hitter) to a two-year contract. Agreed to terms with Ravelo Manzanillo (pitcher) and assigned him to Syracuse of the International League.

National League

Atlanta Braves -- Signed Sid Bream (first baseman) to a three-year contract.

* Chicago Cubs -- Acquired Mike Grace (third baseman) from the Montreal Expos to complete the Dave Masters' trade.
