Drug-free Alliance Names Two Officials

The Alliance for a Drug-Free Annapolis has named Stephanie Dean Parks as its assistant executive director and Mary Ann McHenry as its office manager.

Parks received a bachelor of arts degree in education and rehabilitation services from George Washington University in 1986. She has worked professionally in the areas of substance abuse education and treatment, criminal justice and special education.

As assistant director, Parks will help to coordinate activities and work with volunteers and community groups to further the philosophies of the Alliance.

McHenry, a graduate of Roanoke College, is the former office manager and assistant to the president of the Summit Group, an Annapolis-based marketing organization that provides support services for companies and institutions in this country and abroad.

As office manager of the Alliance, McHenry will provide administrative services for the organization.

The Alliance for a Drug-Free Annapolis is a non-profit membership organization working with the community to create a drug-free environment for citizens in the Annapolis area.
