5 hurt in W. Baltimore in drive-by shooting

Four men and one woman were wounded in a drive-by shooting in West Baltimore last night, police said.

Police said the five were standing on the corner of West North Avenue and Longwood Street at 8:45 p.m. when a car drove up and two men inside opened fire.

All five victims were taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where four were in good condition. One victim, Rodney Hall, 20, of the 2800 block of Boyd Street, was in critical condition with wounds in the groin and buttocks.

Also wounded were Timothy Franklin, 26, of the 2100 block of Lynhurst Road; Thomas Jones, 26, of the 2300 block of Lauretta Avenue; Cynthia Montague, 36, of the 2300 block of West North Avenue; and Carvel Thomas, 20, of the 3200 block of Brighton Street.
