$1 million Harford Day School addition complete in Bel Air

A 15,000-square-foot addition to the Harford Day School in Bel Air has been completed.

The $1 million, one-story prefabricated metal building will house four new classrooms and a multi-purpose room.

Construction of the addition began in May 1989 and was finished last week.

A dedication ceremony is scheduled for Saturday.

William H. Knott Inc. of Towson was the general contractor. Meyers & D'Aleo of Baltimore was the architect and Frederick Ward & Associates of Bel Air the site engineer. The Commercial Bank of Bel Air arranged the financing.

The Harford Day School enrolls 235 pupils from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade from Harford, Baltimore and Cecil counties.

* Perry Snyder & Associates, an accounting firm, has leased 3,000 square feet at the Executive Centre at Hooks Lane in Pikesville. The Executive Centre is a luxury condominium office park that contains five two-story buildings totaling 96,000 square feet.

* Danoff & King, P.A., a law firm, has leased 1,887 square feet of space at 409 Washington Ave. in Towson, according to Casey & Associates.

* Matrix Distributors has leased 1,325 square feet of space at 7939 Honeygo Blvd in the Whitemarsh Professional Building, according to Casey & Associates.

* Graham C. Fields, auto parts and accessories retailer, has leased 1,800 square feet of space at 4031 Silver Hill Road, according to Siena Corp.

* Thorn Automated Systems Inc. has leased 17,500 square feet at 1583 Sulphur Spring Road, according to W. C. Pinkard & Co.

* Baltimore Refrigeration Supply Co., which distributes and sells of refrigeration equipment, has leased 13,900 square feet at 4981 Mercantile Road, according a to W.C. Pinkard & Co.

* Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has leased 6,208 square feet of space at Park 97 in Anne Arundel County, according to Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services.

* Sears Mortgage Corp. has leased 1,500 square feet of space at Green Spring Station Joppa Concourse, according to W.C. Pinkard & Co.

* Dr. Henri F. W. Merrick has leased additional space for a total of 2,300 square feet of space at Grosvenor Century Plaza, according to W.C. Pinkard & Co.

* Drs. Farrugia & Litwin has leased 2,351 square feet of space in the White Marsh Professional Center, 7939 Honeygo Blvd., according to Nottingham Properties Inc.

* Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has leased 6,208 square feet of space at Park 97 in Anne Arundel County, according to Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services.
