PHILADELPHIA -- Peter Postiglione made two free throws with two seconds left, enabling Neumann College (2-2) to defeat Goucher College (1-6) last night, 64-63. The visitors had gone ahead with 15 seconds remaining on a three-point basket by Jerry White.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Khari Jaxon scored 20, and unbeaten New Mexico (5-0) hit its first seven second-half shots against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (1-4). Jaxon was also a major factor in the New Mexico press that hurt the Hawks' shot-clock-killing offense.
