Services for Maurice A. Davis, retired personnel director of the American Totalisator Co., will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the Bonita Funeral Home in Bonita Springs, Fla.
Mr. Davis, who was 69 and had lived in Bonita Springs for about two years, died early yesterday at his home after an illness of a year.
He retired about six years ago after 40 years with the Baltimore-based horse-racing and lottery betting-equipment company.
Born in New York City, he served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Davis lived in the Carroll Manor area of Northern Baltimore County before moving to Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Betty Tebbs; two sons, Maurice Davis of Brookfield, Conn., and Glenn Davis of Towson; two daughters, Bonnie Ray Romersa of Huntington, N.Y., and Nancy Gittings of Fork; two brothers, Robert F. Davis of Bonita Springs and Bertram Davis of St. Augustine, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
