Gunpowder Group Gets $5,000 Grant

The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy will receive a $5,000 grant from the Janice Hollman Grant fund to aid a conservation program in the Gunpowder watershed of Baltimore and Harford counties.

The conservancy is one of nine land trusts in Maryland that will receive a grant from the Hollman fund.

The fund, named for the co-founder of the Severn River Land Trust and the Arundel Conservation Trust, supports land trusts in their protection efforts.

The conservancy's land trust is available to assist property owners who wish to preserve their land.
