Kathryn K. McCoy

Kathryn K. McCoy, 88, who retired as a cashier at a swimming pool at age 79, died Tuesday at Deaton Hospital after a long illness.

Services were being today at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 4711 Edmondson Ave.

Mrs. McCoy, who lived on North Chapelgate Lane, retired in 1981 as cashier at the Wilde Lake Village Pool in Columbia, a job she had held since 1964.

The former Kathryn Kleinhans was a native of Port Clinton, Ohio, and a 1925 graduate of Oberlin College.

She and her husband, Robert L. McCoy Sr., an engineer for the Locke Insulator Co., moved to Baltimore in 1926.

Survivors include a son, Robert L. McCoy of Ten Hills; two sisters, Winifred K. Vose of Severna Park and Grace K. Smith of Clearwater, Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
