Dorsey Shreve Waxter, 90, a former manager of the women's Hamilton Street Club, died Sunday at Keswick after a long illness.
A memorial service was being held today today at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 811 Cathedral St.
Mrs. Waxter lived in the Roland Park area for many years.
She managed the Hamilton Street Club during the 1960s.
In the late 1930s and early 1940s, she managed the food service at the Plimhimmon Hotel in Ocean City, which had been built by her grandmother, Rosalie Tilghman Shreve.
