Glen Burnie Woman Reports Being Raped

A 26-year-old Glen Burnie woman was raped early yesterday morning, county police said.

Police said the rapist entered the woman's apartment in the 400 block of Pamela Road at about 3:41 p.m. and dragged the woman into a bedroom.

The man raped her and left the apartment. Police said the woman went to a neighbor's home and called the police.

Police described the rapist only as a black male.


A man with a gun robbed the Rock Creek Shell station in Pasadena early yesterday morning.

Police said the robber entered the station in the 8600 block of Fort Smallwood Road at about 2:11 a.m. and demanded money.

The clerk gave the robber the money and the robber was last seen heading west on Fort Smallwood Road.

Police described the robber as a white male in his 20s, wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and armed with a .38 caliber handgun.


County police have charged two men with narcotics violations after police raided an Annapolis hotel Monday.

Marvin Johnson, 23, of the 900 block of Central Street in Annapolis, was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Quincy T. Slowe, 25, of no fixed address, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Police said they seized 1.7 grams of cocaine with a street value of $200.

Police searched a room in the Thrift Inn on Riva Road after receiving tips that the occupants were dealing drugs.


A county police officer was injured early Saturday morning while breaking up several fights outside the Earleigh Heights fire house on Ritchie Highway.

Officer Brian David Smith was trying to separate two people fighting at about 1:30 a.m. when he was pushed and fell on the pavement, spraining his back.

He was treated and released from North Arundel Hospital.

During the fights that occurred after a dance in the fire house, police ordered two men off the parking lot. When they refused, officers arrested them.

Hilton Leroy Pulley, 21, of the 900 block of Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, and Gary Mathews, 20, of the 400 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Severna Park, were charged with disorderly conduct.


A Millersville man killed his wife's dog during a domestic dispute in their home Saturday, county police reported.

Police officers were called to the home in the 500 block of Belmawr Place for a fight. When they arrived, a man told them that he had an argument with his wife and as she was pushing him out the door, the dog bit him.

The man picked up the dog, a terrier, and threw it to the ground, killing it.

No charges were filed.
