Hunting down deer protest responses

It's your call

November 27, 1990

Deer season opened last week and with it came protests against deer hunting. Again this year protesters followed hunters into the woods to try to disrupt their hunting. Some of the protesters have been charged for violating state law in interfering with hunters. We'd like to know your opinion of the protests. Do you approve of the protesters following hunters to disrupt deer hunting?

To share your opinion, call 783-1800 (in Anne Arundel County 268-7736) on your touch-tone phone between 10 a.m. and midnight. It's a free call. Results will be in Wednesday's Evening Sun.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
