Martha D. Jeffries Woman's Club official

A memorial service for Martha D. Jeffries, former president and longtime finance officer of the Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights, will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, 200 School Lane.

Mrs. Jeffries, who was 75, died of cancer Saturday at her home on Homewood Road in Linthicum Heights.

She was a former member of the Woman's Club of Roland Park and had belonged to the Arundel Hospice Auxiliary and served on the memorial committee at the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church.

She also volunteered for the Southern District Bloodmobile of the Red Cross and for Meals on Wheels.

The former Martha Dreyer was born in Baltimore and graduated from Friends School. As a young woman, she was secretary to her father at his box manufacturing company, H. D. Dreyer & Co.

Her husband, Thomas T. Jeffries Jr., retired as chief of planning at the Key Highway Shipyard of the Bethlehem Steel Corp.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Thomas T. Jeffries III of Kingwood, Texas, and Henry D. Jeffries of Ellicott City; a sister, Louise Dreyer Bonner of Baltimore; and two granddaughters.
