Key injuries: Broncos: LB Scott Curtis (knee) is out; WR Vance Johnson (foot), TE Orson Mobley (ankle) are doubtful; WR Richey Nattiel (shoulder), RB Alton Montgomery (flu/back) are questionable. Lions: QB Rodney Peete (hamstring) is doubtful; DE Dan Owens (ankle) is questionable.

Outlook: The Broncos totalled 330 yards and 21 first downs in a 16-13 overtime loss to the Bears Sunday, but allowed six sacks for minus-40 yards. The Broncos blew a halftime lead for the ninth time this season. They have been outscored, 158-63, in the second half. The Lions gained 208 yards and had 15 first downs in a 20-0 loss to the Giants Sunday with only two of 10 third-down conversions. The Lions have scored just seven points in the past two weeks.
