Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police reported a man was robbed and his female companion assaulted by two men who accosted them as they walked in the 2100 block of W. North Ave. late Monday night. Police said two men, one armed with an unknown hard object, stopped Michael Harrison and Sharon Taylor, both of the 3800 block of Ridgewood Ave., and demanded their money. Police said the assailants robbed Harrison of $19 in cash, but Taylor refused to give up her purse after one of the men grabbed her. Police said one of the men was recognized by the victims and was being sought.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported someone broke into a house in the 1300 block of N. Fremont Ave. by forcing the front door and removed a three-piece living room set and a 19-inch TV, all valued at nearly $900.

RAPE: Western District -- Police today were seeking two men for raping a woman after they attacked her early yesterday while she was walking in the 1000 block of N. Carrollton Ave. The woman told police the men forced her into an alley, threatened her with physical harm and raped her. The woman was treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that property valued at nearly $600 was stolen from a dwelling in the 2400 block of Druid Hill Ave. after someone gained entry through the front door. Police said the intruder escaped with a telephone, TV and two video tapes.

ROBBERY TRY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that a 17-year-old resident of the 3400 block of Mary Ave. was walking in the 3900 block of Erdman Ave. Monday night when two men, one armed with a knife, accosted him and demanded his money. The youth fought off the assailants during a struggle and fled unharmed.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- John Wells, of the 1300 block of Crofton Road, reported he was in the 1600 block of Havenwood Road when he was attacked from behind by two men who knocked him to the ground and robbed him of his wallet, containing an unknown sum of money.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Charlotte Barrett, of the 1300 block of Pentridge Road, reported that someone entered her home and stole nearly $200 in cash.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1700 block of Waverly Way reported that someone forced open the front door of his apartment and stole two VCRs, valued at $500.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that property of unknown value was stolen from a dwelling in the 5300 block of Moravia Road after someone got in through a front window.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Elton Jackson, of the 1700 block of Winding Brook Way in Woodlawn, reported that someone broke into his parked 1990 Ford in the 2800 block of St. Lo Drive and stole a jacket and a ring, together valued at nearly $900.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that a microwave oven valued at $200 was stolen from a dwelling in the 5400 block of Force Road by someone who broke a window to gain entry.

THEFTS: Northeastern District -- Police said a man entered the 7-Eleven in the 5400 block of Radecke Ave. early yesterday and took $20 from the cash register. Less than an hour later, a man walked into the 7-Eleven in the 6000 block of Harford Road and took an undisclosed sum of money from the cash register. Police said the same man apparently committed the thefts.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Emanuel Smith, of the 2400 block of Bridgehampton Drive, reported that a friend from Virginia who had been staying with him stole a 12-gauge shotgun and several hundred dollars upon leaving. Police advised Smith to swear out an arrest warrant.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Delores Allen, of the 2900 block of Glenmore Ave., reported that someone stole more than $160 worth of furniture from her front porch.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police responding to a shoplifting at the Ames department store in the 2500 block of Belair Road arrested a 20-year-old man who allegedly tried to leave the store without paying for several personal hygiene items. Police said Donte Johnson, of the 800 block of N. Broadway, was charged with theft.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Frankie Green, of the 3900 block of Sinclair Lane, reported she was walking in the 4500 block of Erdman Ave. yesterday when a man in his 20s approached her from behind and stole her purse containing cash and other property, all valued at more than $100.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that Cynthia Smiley, of the 2800 block of Pelham Ave., was walking near her home around 11 a.m. yesterday when two youths who rode past her on bikes and one of them grabbed her purse containing cash and food stamps, all valued at $135.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Officials of Al Packer Jeep-Eagle in the 5900 block of Belair Road reported that someone entered the new car lot and removed Jeep emblems from the hoods of three vehicles, for a loss of $300.
