A Mass of Christian burial for Louise G. Alessi, a nurse who had been a parliamentarian and a member of women's clubs, will be offered at 9 a.m. today at the Roman Catholic Church of the Nativity, 1809 Vista Lane in Timonium.

Mrs. Alessi, who was 79 and lived on Bramleigh Road in Timonium, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital after a stroke.

A registered parliamentarian who worked at meetings and taught parliamentary procedure, she was parliamentarian and former president of the Maryland Association of Parliamentarians. She also belonged to the National Association of Parliamentarians.

Born Louise Geaghan in Bangor, Maine, she was a 1928 graduate of St. John's High School there and a 1931 graduate of the nursing school at what was then the Gallinger Municipal Hospital in Washington.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis A. Alessi of York, Pa., and Ronald G. Alessi of Timonium; three sisters, Mary Ellen Richardson of Bangor, Maine, C. Callista O'Brien of Buffalo, N.Y., and Frances E. McCluskey of Houlton, Maine; two brothers, Bernard E. Geaghan of Newark, Del., and Melville G.
