LUCILLE DAVIS SPORTS STORE OWNER, 81

Memorial services for Lucille Davis, owner of Princeton Sports stores in Columbia and Baltimore, were held at Sol Levinson and Brothers Funeral Home in Baltimore Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Mrs. Davis, 81, a native of Scranton, Pa., died Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Jewish Convalescent Home in Baltimore.

Mrs. Davis and her late husband, Samuel, worked together in the family owned sporting goods business for decades, beginning in 1936 with the opening of Princeton Cycle Co. in Druid Hill.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Bert Gurtie; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Mishner; a son, Sonny Davis; and six grandchildren, Alan Davis, Paul Davis, Sherri Davis, Dr. Edward Mishner, Dr. Harvey Mishner, Mrs. Cynthia King; and 13 great grandchildren.
