Literary Merits Honored

November 18, 1990

Four county residents were recognized at the Nov. 14 school board meeting for their achievements with various school publications.

Each periodical has earned recognition from a national scholastic press association.

Those honored are:

* Constance Tromble, Westminster High senior and editor-in-chief of the Owl newspaper. The paper earned a first-place certificate from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

* Katherine See, Westminster High senior and editor of the Owl yearbook.

The yearbook also received a first-place certificate from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

* Micki Hamilton and Christine Roach, 1990 graduates of North Carroll High and editors of the Panther's Tale newspaper. The paper earned a first-place certificate from the American Scholastic Press Association.
